Lauderdale-by-the-Sea (LBTS) is one of the safest beach areas - police and fire station is only 1 block away! LBTS is unique to the area since it has managed to remain free from high rise development along its beachfront. The beaches are beautiful and the locals are friendly. Along Commercial Blvd from the bridge to the beach you’ll find many local shops, restaurants and bars. The beachfront is lined with low-rise condos, boutique hotels and a fishing pier. The local reefs are close to the beach, so the snorkeling and scuba diving is excellent. In fact, LBTS is known as the beach diving capital of the world!
The building is "Plain jane" with 4 units. Who needs to pay for "fancy" when you have the beach almost at your doorstep!? Window AC. Pool is refreshing after a day at the beach. No brass, glass and granite, but it has what you need to enjoy the beach at a savings! Spend less on your sleeping accommodations, more on fun things...great dinners...fabulous beach experience! This older building, just getting online, working on landscaping, and tweaking, that's why it's less than the competition. It's nice inside! In a couple minutes' walk you are enjoying the scenic ocean! Other residents are friendly. No smoking is allowed inside, ok outside. For small pets inquire. Parking for 1 car included.
