Terms and Conditions

The booking form constitutes the sole contract between Fort Lauderdale Vacation Rentals (Management Company) and the person (Client) submitting this form. No contract will exist until the Management Company has received a completed booking form and a deposit.

A deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance falls due six weeks prior to the arrival date in the villa. If the balance is not received in full by this date the Management Company reserve the right to cancel the booking without notice and retain the deposit. If a booking is made within six weeks of arrival date the full rental is required at the time of booking. Deposits and balances are non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the client. It is essential to obtain insurance cover against this possibility.

A refundable security deposit of $300 is required at the time of final balance payment. This is usually taken in the form of credit card authorisation of the amount. If paid by check it will be refunded in full within 30 days when we have carried out a full check of the villa on your parties departure.

The Management Company will not be liable for any illness, injury, accident, loss or damage whatsoever to persons or personal property howsoever caused resulting from the use by clients of the Villa and swimming pool. Clients are asked to note that children are not allowed to use the pool without adult supervision.

If pool heating has been requested, paid for and is subsequently unavailable, we will only be liable to return payment for the period of days the heating was unavailable. We can bear no responsibility if heating instructions have not been followed.

The Management Company will not be liable for loss of main services such as electricity or water supplies, nor for the consequences of the actions or omissions of persons who may control supply of main services or any actions taken in the vicinity of the property by any authority over which there is no control.

The Management Company will not be liable for loss or damage or changes caused by force majeure events such as strikes, riots, political unrest, hostilities, war or threat of war, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, fire, flood, natural and nuclear disaster, technical problems to transport, closure of airports or ports, weather conditions or similar events beyond our control.

We reserve the right, if in the unlikely event circumstances necessitate, to cancel the booking at any time and will only be liable to refund moneys already paid by yourselves to us for the villa rental.

Care has been taken in ensuring the promotional material provided is accurate and up to date, however, alterations my sometimes occur and we will endeavour to advise you of any substantial amendments as soon as we are made aware of them.

Entry into the villa will be after 4pm on the first day and on the day of departure the villa must be vacated by 10:00am. The Villa cannot be sub-let, shared or assigned. Only people named on the Booking Form (Guests) may stay in the Villa at any time during the rental period. Pets are not permitted. We reserve the right to terminate the rental without notice without refund in the case of breach of this condition.

We recommend that clients obtain the appropriate holiday insurance prior to departure. Each client is personally responsible for the provision of appropriate travel documents.
