Discover the convenience and the value of shopping in everything from boutiques to department stores in Greater Fort Lauderdale and beyond. You can shop at the Galleria Mall via Water Taxi (see our boating tours section for more info.) Sawgrass Mills, the world's largest discount and entertainment mall, the Swap Shop, South's largest flea market, and Festival Flea Market, a quarter-mile long shopper's paradise, are just a few of the venues to begin your retail therapy. Translated “the waves” in Spanish, Las Olas Blvd. is known as Greater Fort Lauderdale’s “style mile,” lined with independently owned boutiques, a restaurant row with acclaimed chefs, and lively lounges and cafés with sidewalk seating. Las Olas also is the starting point for canal tours in authentic, Italian gondolas, as well as a major stop along Greater Fort Lauderdale’s Water Taxi system.
Galleria Mall
The Galleria is home to all your favorite stores, along with many that are destined to become your future favorites. Discover them all here.
Running almost parallel to Fort Lauderdale’s New River on its way to the Atlantic Ocean, Las Olas is a broad avenue divided by a wide landscaped median of flowers and towering shade trees. Over the canal at the east end of the tree lined median, in the Colee Hammock locale, are more shops, restaurants, and stores too unique to describe … all worth exploring! Las Olas is within walking distance of the beach, where Las Olas meets the ocean.

NOW OPEN in the Colonnade Outlets: Canali, Judith Ripka, Tag Heuer, Tommy Bahama's Outlet, Tumi, True Religion and Zegna Outlet!
Because of its size, Sawgrass Mills is divided into three parts: the mall itself with four "Avenue" sections; the "Oasis", an outdoor component open since 1999 including Regal 23 Cinemas, Ron John Surf Shop, and Nordstrom Rack. The "Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass" opened in 2006 as an upscale lifestyle area with shops and restaurants, anchored by Last Call! and Neiman Marcus. Additionally, there are numerous "outparcel" stores and plazas. Visit the website for a complete list of stores.
The Swap Shop was featured on a PBS special, "A Flea Market Documentary" in 2002, and has been seen all over the world on numerous travelogue series shown on every major television market around the world.
The Swap Shop is the most unique shopping experience anywhere, and has become a landmark business in South Florida. The Swap Shop is the second largest South Florida attraction with visitors from not only the United States and Canada but many foreign countries as well! It's not a surprise that in 1990 alone more than 12 million people visited the now world famous SWAP SHOP.
